Space saving wave springs -

Smalley Steel Ring Company, the world's innovator and market leader in industrial retaining and snap rings, wave and compression springs, introduced a New Series of Metric Crest-to-Crest® wave springs.

Crest-to-Crest springs enable original equipment manufacturers to reduce the size of their assembly by up to 50% while maintaining the same amount of force and deflection as a regular coiled spring.

Smalley's Metric Crest-to-Crest wave springs minimize assembly cost and total assembly size due to the reduced spring cavity required. Smalley offers over 3000 standard wave springs in 17-7 stainless steel or carbon steel. The New Metric Crest-to Crest series are available in dimensions from 6 to 60 mm.

Gardner Denver Thomas in Puchheim has developed a completely new peristaltic pump offering the 'QuiXchange system' which is making tube changes extremely easy.

In a matter of seconds the tube can be changed safely and completely without using any special tools.

The spring loaded roller carrier and the optimised housing provide an optimal protection of the tube and allows an extremely long durability. Even at high loads associated with pumping highly viscous liquids the countered bearing motor shaft guarantees a safe operation.

As an option the flow rate can be electronically adjusted. Through integrated electronics and a potentiometer the on-time can be regulated and the delivery rate set between of 0 and 3 l/h.

Naturally there are different tube sizes and qualities available to meet virtually any requirement. The suction height is 8 m and the pressure height is 10 m.

Compared to traditional diaphragm pumps in the same package size, the Aquamarin 1210 Series reduces throughput time by up to 30% when handling critical mixed media. This is obtained through the QuiXvalve -Technology (patent pending). The unique suction height capability of up to 6 meters is unmatched.
